Burano 

Famous for his colorful houses and the ancient "Scuola del Merletto" (lace academy).
Sailing in the the lagoon people can recognize Burano for its leaning tower, which helped fishermen to orientate coming back home.
In this island live 2.000 people which traditions are connected to fish and lace. In the main square dedicated to Baldassarre Galuppi, composer and organist who was born in Burano, are located the school and the lace museum.
